The secret To Picking The perfect Dance Sneakers

As a dancer, there is one thing that you need to get right when it comes to your dance wear.  nike sneakers You can get by with a less than perfect skirt or shorts, but if your sneakers do not fit well and feel comfortable then you are going to be reminded of that fact with every step that you take. Make no mistake, your choice of dance sneakers is going to be a big one. So how can you be sure you are going to pick the right pair?

There are several criteria that you will want to weigh up when you consider which dance sneakers you are going to wear. You will want to make sure that you consider each of these before you make your purchase. Taking some time at this stage will make all the difference once you actually start dancing in your new sneakers. This is not something you will want to get wrong.

Color

Perhaps you had not given a lot of thought to the appearance of your dance sneakers, but actually this can be very important. Clearly the color will not help you dance any better, or make your sneakers any more comfortable, but the color and the look of the sneaker can be important.

Your dance class will probably have some kind of dress code which you are expected to follow. It is quite likely that your dance class or teacher will expect you to wear footwear that fits within this dress code. You can perhaps see why this is important - imagine you turn up with your new hot pink dance sneakers, and your dance teacher refuses to allow you to take part in the class? Suddenly all the other criteria fall away as if they were insignificant. If you have any doubt, then check with your dance class information about the dress code. Assuming that your class allows you to wear sneakers in the first place, you will probably find that black is the preferred color, but its important that you make sure before you spend any money.

Comfort

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that your dance sneakers need to be comfortable. Look out for poorly placed seems that may lead to irritation on your feet. Cheap dance sneakers may fall victim to poor design, and what may seem like a harmless niggle when you first put them on will grow into something really annoying and potentially painful over time.

Weight

If you are going to be dancing for any length of time, more than an hour for example, then you are going to want to pay attention to the weight of the sneakers that you pick. Dancing for an extended period of time with heavy footwear will be like wearing weights on your feet. Given enough time, this extra weight can really take its toll. Lighter is better - that's the simple truth

Flexibility

You will want dance sneakers that move in every way that your feet do, so you will want a flexible yet supportive sole. Many dance sneakers have innovated a two sole design, where the heel and front of your feet each have a small sole, which do not join in the middle. This has the effect of reducing weight and increasing flexibility. Not all dance sneakers have this, and there are many quality dance sneakers that do not, so its important to at least consider single sole sneakers too.
